Two days ago on October 4, 2022, the rain was coming down hard during Day 9 of our Philadelphia Museum of Art Union strike and there I was looking like a weirdo singing alone in the rain to get the concept of this song recorded on my iPhone so I could re-record it once I got home.  
  
~48 hours later, “Tricks and Lies” was created. I should send an invoice to the Museum because I have spent literal hours on this.  
  
Additional Project Details:  

  1. You know this font (see Avenir Project)  
  2. ‘Tricks and lies’ refers to the PMA Union chant referring to Bill and PMA as a whole.  
  3. The Real Ones know that the layout of the Museum in the photos is incorrect. That was done purpose to highlight the tricks and lies as mentioned in lyrics (“Cause all you have inside is an unlimited supply of tricks and lies”)  
  4. The caption for the lyrics “Done with the tricks and lies” was manually synced with the background audio (the audio moves from the left speaker to the right and vice versa).  
  5. How fitting that we are in the Halloween season and tricks and lies are common during this time 🤔 
  6. I legit probably listened to this song about a 1000 times in 2 days.
